Hiring Credit Terms

One hiring credit pays for one hiring request for up to 5 workers — access to marketplace fulfilment, not a guaranteed successful hire. Hiring requests for more than 5 workers are rejected at publish time.

Current validity periods: Single Hire 30 days, 3-Hire Pack 6 months, 6-Hire Pack 12 months. Validity begins when payment is successfully confirmed and the credits are actually granted — the clock does not start merely because checkout was opened. If a payment provider confirms the transaction late, validity still begins from the actual grant, so provider delay never shortens the purchased validity period. Credits are consumed soonest-expiring first. A lot whose credits reach zero is marked exhausted; a lot past its expiry date is marked expired and its remaining credits become unusable.

A credit is consumed atomically at the moment a hiring request is successfully published and becomes open. If publishing fails, no credit is consumed. Each consumption is recorded once per hiring request in an append-only ledger and cannot be consumed twice for the same request.

A consumed credit is automatically restored only when the worker cancels before work starts; a hirer cancelling a published request does not trigger an automatic restore. A restored credit returns to its original lot and keeps its original expiry date — restoration never creates a new expiration date. If the original lot has already expired, the credit cannot be restored. Restorations are idempotent, and a failed automatic restoration is queued for retry and administrative resolution rather than silently dropped.

Refunding a purchase revokes the unused credits granted by that purchase first, preserving the full ledger history — consumed work is never silently erased. A chargeback on a purchase whose credits were already consumed may leave an unresolved debt on the account; new hiring is blocked until support resolves the hold through an audited adjustment.

KaamSet never modifies an original credit lot's expiry to compensate for downtime. If KaamSet chooses to compensate someone for an outage, it issues a separate promotional or support credit with its own transparent terms. This keeps the original billing ledger immutable and understandable.
