Nobody should have to choose between their reliability record and their safety.
Before a job can go live, the hirer must list the known hazards on the site, the protective equipment the work needs, whether that equipment is provided, and any licence the job requires. A job with no hazard disclosure cannot be published.
Site and emergency contact details are private. They are shown only to the worker who is actually assigned to that job.
If you arrive and the site is materially unsafe, such as no protection at height, live electrical work without isolation, unsupported excavation, or missing equipment you were promised, you may leave.
Open the job and use ‘Report an unsafe site’. Describe what you found, select the hazards, and add a photo if it is safe to take one.
Leaving is still recorded because the record of what happened is never erased. But the reliability consequence is held: it is marked non-sanctioning and cannot trigger an automatic restriction while the report is open.
A member of our team, never the hirer, reviews the report. If the hazard is upheld, the consequence stays permanently non-sanctioning. If the report is found to be knowingly false or abusive, the ordinary reliability rules resume.
